It seems a long time since I last sat and looked at the year’s fund raising efforts.
This year has seen participation in several events which included:
Jason Howes and his team raising £1,300 in the Wolf Run 2014 in April.
Chris Sannwald raising £193 in the Chester half marathon in May.
Barry Collier raising £915 in the flaming June half marathon in Liverpool.
Martin Todd raising £305 in the Edinburgh Marathon.
Sam Smith and Joe raising £823 in the Great Eastern Run.
Paul Mccole raising £200 in the Liverpool Half Marathon.
What a way to spend a Honeymoon Victoria and David placed a CLL Banner at the mountain top. Victoria and David left their Wedding reception to head for Annapurna Base camp in the Everest region and to trek through the snow to raise £500. Well done you both and a very big thank you from us all.
Then there was ,what is becoming a regular CLLSA event, The British London 10k. 17 fearless fund raisers joined the 22,000 entrants to raise a very acceptable £3,900 in sponsorship.
Top fund raisers were Molly’s Team, pictured here, who raised over £1,600. Well done Team.
Trustees Samir Agrawal and his son Milan raised £540 and Derek McGlashan and his sister Kathleen £1,600. With Ian Northeast raising the rest. Hope to see you all again at the 2015 London 10k.
A date for your diaries: The British London 10k will take place on Sunday 12th July and registration is now open. For details please contact Derek McGlashan at firstname.lastname@example.org
Don't forget if you have any fund raising ideas and would like T shirts with CLLSA logos please contact Derek McGlashan.
Finally, thank you to all those who made an effort and helped us by raising much needed funds. We look forward to your continuing support in 2015.
