We will be hosting a drop-in event from 3-5pm. This will be an informal event, and will provide an opportunity for MPs to come along for a short period, meet representatives from the CLLSA and find out more about the impact of CLL on people within their constituency and across the UK.
We will discuss current challenges for those living with CLL, including access to new drugs which can improve and extend life for CLL patients, and ensuring better access to advice and support on diagnosis.
We will provide the MPs with photographs and press releases for local use, as well as follow up materials which they can use to raise the profile of CLLSA in Parliament.
But we need your help to make this a success!
If you are able to attend on the day, please let us know – we can then send you further information, plus an invite to send to your local MP to ask them specifically to come along. You can email our Coordinator – Sarah Tobin at coordinator@cllsupport.org.uk to register your interest.
If you are not able to attend, we can still send a template email for you to send to your MP, asking them to attend on the day and meet CLLSA representatives. Email Sarah at coordinator@cllsupport.org.uk to request a copy.
Please do let us know if you can either attend, or to send an invite to your MP.
