Last month we launched the new Chronic Blood Cancer Support Group for people in Cardiff and surrounding areas. The support group is being run jointly by Leukaemia CARE and the Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia Association (CLLSA) .
Our second meeting is fast approaching If you are interested in joining us and can make it on Wednesday 29th June at 3.30pm
please contact us by telephoning Nickey at LEUKAEMIA CARE on 08088 010 444 or by email to care@leukaemiacare.org.uk or Nick at nick.york@cllsupport.org.uk
Cardiff Central Library is right among the shops and cafes and also houses The Citizens Advice Bureau with closest parting next door at John Lewis. Cardiff central train station and bus services are a few hundred yards away. So plenty to do if you pop into town for the afternoon by train , bus or car.
Our first meeting was a good one and it was lovely to meet with friends from here in the community. Prof Chris Fegan attended and will be working with as we develop the group together to shape it to serve our needs into the future., We were also joined by Cardiff Age Connect who advocate for older people living with cancer ,
We are seeking your help to establish this group and join us if you can
Looking forward to meeting up
