Dr George Follows handed over the Chairmanship of the UK CLL Forum to his colleague from Oxford, Dr Anna Schuh at forums recent meeting on 5 Oct 2016. Our thanks to Dr George Follows for his ongoing support of the CLL community and congratulations to Dr Anna Schuh on her new role, Many members will remember Anna's very informative presentation at the Oxford meeting of the CLLSA in 2012.
The UKCLL Forum was established by Terry Hamblin in 2000 as an umbrella organisation for CLL in the UK. Its aims were, and remain, to bring together everyone with an interest in CLL and in particular to bridge the gap between the clinical and scientific aspects of the disease. In doing so, the Forum provides an ideal framework within which the entire UK CLL community can input into issues such as guidelines, clinical trials and translational science.
